Australian phone users privacy at risk

Pressure has been building for Apple to assist the FBI in unlocking or hacking into the Apple iPhone recovered from one of the San Bernardino shooters. The issue lies in the possible precedent that may be put in place for access private data from mobile phones by law enforcement. Our managing director consulted on this issue with Nine MSN.

If Apple do have a fix they may request the phone be sent to them and accessed in private. If access is granted, Apple may in turn upgrade the security settings of their products so that they themselves cannot even access the phones.

If you are concerned your mobile device may be hacked or compromised, our cyber security and digital forensic experts are able to analyse your phone, and give you advice to help you secure your device and your privacy.
